Made your room, posted it, moved on? Good digital hygiene says: revoke the connection. It takes about 30 seconds and doesn’t affect your account in any other way.
Revoke on Spotify
- Open your Spotify account page. In a browser, go to spotify.com and log in, then open your Account settings. (This is Spotify’s own site — exactly where you want to be for permission changes.)
- Find the Apps section. Look for “Manage apps” — it lists every third-party app you’ve ever connected.
- Locate the room generator in the list (it appears under the name it registered with).
- Click “Remove access.” That’s it — the app can no longer read anything from your account.
Revoke on Apple Music
- On iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Apps Using Apple ID (wording varies slightly by iOS version).
- Find the app in the list and choose Stop Using Apple ID / remove access.
What happens after revoking
- The app loses the ability to read your data going forward.
- Your existing room images are unaffected — they’re just pictures you saved.
- You can always reconnect later; the trend will still be there.

Will revoking delete my room?

Should I change my password too?
