When half of TikTok tries the same tool in the same week, things break. If your room won’t generate, work through these fixes in order — they’re sorted from most-likely to least-likely culprit.
- Refresh once, then wait. Viral spikes overload the generator’s servers. If the page loads but the room hangs, give it 15–30 seconds before assuming it’s broken — and if it fails, try again at an off-peak hour.
- Check you approved the permission screen. The number-one cause of a blank room: the Spotify/Apple consent prompt got dismissed. Restart the flow and read the screen this time (it should be view-only access — see what the permissions mean).
- Leave the in-app browser. Opened the link inside TikTok or Instagram? Their built-in browsers regularly break OAuth logins. Tap the three dots → “Open in browser” and run it in Safari or Chrome instead.
- Try a private/incognito tab. This clears cookie conflicts, especially if you’ve logged into multiple Spotify accounts on the same device.
- Clear cache or switch browsers. Old cached scripts can clash after the site updates. A different browser is the fastest test.
- Check your account has data to read. Brand-new or barely-used accounts give the generator nothing to build with. If your account is fresh, listen for a few days and retry — Apple Music users, see the Apple-specific notes.
